Parenting Plan

This form is a Parenting Plan used to write down an agreement about how parents will share time and responsibilities for minor children. It must be agreed upon by the parents and approved by the court.

- The form is for parents to use when developing a Parenting Plan. Both parties must sign it if an agreement is reached.
- What happens if the parents cannot agree on a plan?
- If the parents cannot agree, the court will establish a Plan. A proposed plan can be filed by either parent before the final hearing.
- What does the plan need to cover?
- The plan must describe how parents will share daily tasks, the time-sharing schedule, who handles health and school matters, and how parents will communicate with the child(ren).
