What are the two ways to start the case?
You can start a probate case either by filing an Application to the Registrar (Informal Proceeding) or by filing a Petition to the Court (Formal Proceeding).
What is the filing fee?
A filing fee of $229.00 is required. If you cannot pay, you must complete the Motion to Waive Fees (JDF 205) and submit it to the Court.
