- What must happen before I can file this?
- You must already have a court order about maintenance, and there must be changes in your situation that are significant and ongoing. Great care must be taken to follow the rules and procedures of the court.
- What fees might I have to pay?
- A filing fee of $105.00 is required if you file this motion or stipulation 60 days or more after the original order was issued. If you cannot pay, you must use a specific form to ask the court about the fee.
- What is the difference between a Motion and a Stipulation?
- A Motion is a request filed with the court. A Stipulation is a written agreement that is prepared by both parties involved in the case.
